Colorado was the first place I took photographs on the trip, except for some quick snapshots along the road. I drove to Colorado Springs to visit a friend, and to take a short break from camping prior to the major effort that was on the horizon. Although I did manage to do some serious photography in Colorado, I was actually still on my way to Utah, so I didn't have a lot of time for photography. Most of the shots were taken by stopping along the road...
